The Volksbank ID app serves as the central authentication method for login and authorization in accordance with PSD2 regulations (mandatory as of September 14, 2019).
With the Volksbank ID, users can securely log in to their online banking accounts and authorize transactions. Unlike traditional banking apps, the Volksbank ID app displays only the pertinent information required for authorization, ensuring that users can verify and confirm the accuracy of each transaction.
To activate the new login and authorization process, simply download the Volksbank ID app from your preferred app store and complete the setup by entering a TAN. Within the app, users will have access to their login and authorization details for verification. By clicking on the displayed control number from your banking interface, you can easily and securely authorize payments and transactions.
The Volksbank ID app supports convenient sign-ins through Quick-ID (4-digit security code) and Touch-ID (fingerprint recognition).
